I want you to stop right now, (seriously do it!) close your eyes and feel what it feels like with your goal achieved! How does it feel??? What are you able to do? What can you do easily? What do you enjoy more? What are you celebrating? How amazing does it feel? What are you proud you can do?
How does it affect your every day life to have achieved your goal? How does it affect your family? How does it affect your health?
Why does it make you feel that way?
Now, lets make it happen!!! I will be your biggest cheerleader and cannot wait to celebrate with you!!
I have always enjoyed moving my body and embraced a competitive spirit for as long as I can remember. Even back in Elementary school I remember looking forward to "The Track Meet" in the early grades. High school sports were a big part of my teenage years and going to the Provincial level in Sprinting, Hurdles, and soccer were definitely a highlight.
University was amazing and I was blessed with a hockey scholarship to a Division 1 school in the United States. While maintaining Honours I completed my degree in Physical Education/ Strength and Conditioning and Personal Training. After completing my degree I went on to attain my Masters degree in Early Elementary Education on a Teaching Assistantship.
During my Undergraduate work I assisted with the strength and conditioning programs for the collegiate programs at the University. I was also a personal trainer assistant at the local gym.
From Highschool into my early twenties I was also a lifeguard, coached swim team and taught many many Aquafit classes. I even received my "Speedo Aquafit Instructor Certification along the way.
After a few years of "Mom time" and staying consistent with being active I reentered the workforce in one of the best gyms in the area. Starting off as a Fitness Consultant I also did Personal Training, taught Group Fitness classes, taught Spin (indoor cycle) classes all while working my way up to Management) I also was certified in FMS (Functional Movement Systems) and also received my Schwinn Indoor Cycle Instructor Certification)
When 2020 hit it was time for me to come home and I slowly started Building my own business.
During each of my pregnancies I stayed active either in the gym or at home and attribute that to easy pregnancies and an easier childbirth experience. I was even at the gym 2 hours before my last son was born ;)
This is just a quick snippet of all things active in my life. I cannot wait to hear all about your health and fitness goals!!
Will you be my next success story?1?
